Where can I find 35 mm SLR camera for cheap?

My friend needs to find this camera 35 mm SLR camera cheap online. Does anyone know where i can find it?

Nobody wants them with the rise of digital SLRs! Most people here are finding they can hardly give them away and a techno-phobic luddite friend bought a lovely 35mm Canon film kit for next to nothing recently. If ebay in the US is like eBay in the UK, there are loads. But can you guarentee they’re not clapped out? And how long will they continue to make film? I guess at current prices it is a gamble worth taking.

I sold all my good film kit about 7 years ago, before the bottom fell out the market and went 100% digital [Canon DSLRs] and have never regretted it.
