Where can i get old cameras for that ‘old effect’, i was thinking an antique store….?
i want to find old cameras for a cheap price, if i were to do that would it be alot harder finding a place to develop them or would i have to do it myself? and would it be harder to find film for them? what are some good cameras to look for and what are some common parts that old cameras have broken on them? gimme all ur knowledge
What do you mean by “that old effect”?
A digital camera will take decent photos and there are numerous programs available to manipulate the image. You can do just about anything you want then.
If I knew more of what you wanted, I could answer the rest of your question. There are all kinds of cameras that use film and most of it is still available. Are you talking about a bellows camera or an old Brownie? The Speed Graphic was the camera of choice for newspapers. It was also what many professional photographers used. I still use mine from time to time.
Expect to pay about $1000 for one in good shape with everything there and working well. Buying one that doesn’t work can be an expensive proposition and may not be satisfactory for your needs. Be explicit in what your requirements are, then I can help you.
